Cancer Week Ireland is about opening up a national conversation about cancer and for communities and organisations, large and small, to be part of that conversation this September. Cancer Week Ireland is taking place between Monday, September 25th and Sunday, October 1st and hopes to inspire every community to take part.
Strive Clinic is thrilled to be hosting an event in Galway for Cancer Week and invites anyone who is living with or beyond cancer to join in on the conversation!
Cancer rehabilitation is medical care that aims to reduce the troubling effects of cancer and cancer treatment so you can reach your maximum potential and live the best quality of life possible.
A Conversation About Cancer Rehabilitation aims to provide practical tips and tools to people living with or beyond cancer, along with their family members, friends or carers - Leave with practical advice on how to manage troubling after-effects of cancer and its treatment!
The specialist team of cancer rehabilitation professionals from Strive Clinic will discuss the management of common issues such as:
- fatigue
- lymphoedema
- memory & concentration problems
- incontinence
- speech & swallow problems
- exercise tolerance
- mental health challenges
